OAKS SWINGS INTO ACTION

The first salvo in the 2010 Sporting Press Irish Oaks will be fired at Shelbourne Park this evening with the opening eight heats of the first round. There is a terrific entry for the bitch classic and one of the highlights of the classic could take place as early as the second heat.
The John Kiely trained Rossa Baby will be one of the long range fancies to win the classic and she will occupy trap six in what promises to be a cracking contest. She has the brilliantly fast Freedom Seacrest and Cartiers Dazzle among her rivals while the likes of Kiln Kylie and Sink The Pink will also command support.
Lightly raced Hollysbean is a most interesting runner in Heat 4 while others worth noting this evening include Mystic Mega and Razldazl Liza in Heat 6 and Droopys Kina, Shelbourne Dawn and Another Issue in Heat 7.
