The Michael Pomfrey trained Freedom Seacrest (Ace Hi Rumble/ Dalcash Diva) created a huge boost when running away with her first round heat of the Olympic Bee Puppy Oaks at Shelbourne Park on Thursday night.
The September ’08 bitch took a flier from traps and led all the way for an eight length victory in a brilliant 28.59. The runner-up Dalcash Dvinsky also ran a big race in defeat.
The Sean Meaney trained Produce Stakes quarter finalist Cooladerry Fizz (Phoenix Paddy/ Frisby Fizz) produced an astonishing performance in winning Heat 6 in 29.28. She absolutely walked out and came from the next parish to snatch a late three parts of a length victory over Triangle Beyonce in 29.28.
The other sub 29 winner was the Ian Reilly trained Muingwee Girl (Ballymac Maeve/ Mauras Aughrim) in 28.98. The other heat winners were Evas Gold (Westmead Hawk/ Amidus Laura) 29.50, Classy Gem (Droopys Scolari/ Lunar Princess) 29.16 Tracys Wildberry (Top Honcho/ Tracys Hero) 29.36 and Air Force Ellie (Droopys Maldini/ Forest Ghost) 29.00.
